See David Allen stuffing his Inbox (GTD)

The lovely folks from Lifehackingmovie.com just published a video of a visit at David Allen that shows how he is doing GTD. Well….rather how he stuffs his Inbox after a roadtrip and shows off his work environment. For GTD-holics it’s a “must”, but don’t expect too much. This is not groundbreaking or rocket science.

I would strongly recommend to watch the HD-Version (you have to click on the HD-Version on that website to see it).

For implementing GTD you can use this web-based application:

http://www.Gtdagenda.com

You can use it to manage your goals, projects and tasks, set next actions and contexts, use checklists, schedules and a calendar.
A mobile version is available too.

When he says “It is easier to grab them [the folders] from here than to open a drawer every time I want to get to them”, it is a key point.

A quickly accessible system is essential if you don’t want to overflow your inbox by having the “I will file it later” reflex.
When your inbox is not emptied regularly, all the benefits of GTD are pretty much lost.
